The generator on my 1946 Cj2a is not charging anymore how would I go about converting to a 12v alternator and what all will I need to do this

the cj3b page has some good stuff on how to do it use a GM 10si single wire alt.then order the correct bracket for the block it is really a simple operation I even used the original inteior feed wire. Then took the whole regulator wiring harness, regulator and generator with the mounts and put it in a box so if I ever sell the jeep or want to go back to original it's all in one place.

I just did my install a few months ago, this helped me install the correct internal regulator:
