Howdy - I am a new CJ2A owner and have loved every minute of it. The previous owner put 15 x 8 jeep wheels and tires on it and I am looking to bring back the skinny tire look. I don't want to go original wheels and tires because I would like to stay tubeless.  Does anyone have suggestions for where I can find 15X6 wheels that will look similar to the stock wheel? I plan on putting 700X15 power king tires on them. I think this will give me a similar look to stock with a tubeless tire. Hopefully the spare tire will fit on the side with this size wheel & tire, my current wheel is too wide. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

There were 15" stock wheels with 700-15 tires available for the CJ2-As, I have them on mine. Look for a set of them and use tubes in the tires you want.

Would Willys wagon or truck rims from the mid to late 1950s be tube type tires? I have 7.50-16 tubeless tires on my '53 wagon. I think that the rims are stock. I do not know if the rims are tubeless or not. How does one tell? I will check once I know how. My 48 PU has wide 60s tubeless 15" tires on it.

I do not know if 15" rims would have a clearance problem with the brake drums. You would have to find out before buying some of those.

Of course rims from Ford, Dodge, & (I think) International 1/2 ton 4X4 pickups would work as well. The best would be from the 1950s or the 1960s.

Ford/dodge/IH pickup wheels won't fit on the front of a jeep. Hole to small.
