I am looking for a 26 tooth Warn overdrive for my super 18 TC. I am installing a tera low kit and need a 26 tooth. I know they are hard to find, but thought I would throw it out there. Let me know and thanks for reading .

Yes, I have been there as well. I am hoping to spend a little less if I can. Thanks though.

I'm looking for one too. I've learned that you need to see it. They have a synchro system similar to the T90 transmission. If you buy a used one that's worn out, the parts will end up costing you additional and you might have more in it, than new. You never know though, a good one is still a possibility. John

Good used ones with the tooth count you need are out there, just hard to find. I probably spent a good 6 months looking everyday for mine. I ended up finding a rebuilt Warn that had sat on a shelf for years. You never though what you'll get used, I got lucky I think. Also watch for the input spline count to. I almost bought one that was a 26 tooth but later, before pulling the trigger on the deal, found it was a 10 spline input rather then the 6 spline.
Yes John in fact the synchros are the same part number as the T90's brass. I be betting Mr.Warn knew the T90 well and just built what he knew about it into the OD's design |

You can actually use the T90 synchro's depending on the age of the overdrive. The early ones had 3 depressions spotfaced into the synchros and they were held into the hub with roll pins.
I really think this was an assembly aid only so I removed them on one of mine. |
