Ok since we just finished the 2nd trail ride might as well start talking about the 3rd.  There was a request to do another one this fall but I am not sure I can do that.

I'm all for another ride in the fall if there is one. Let me know the date and I'll be there!

I am going to try to scout out some new trails, but will need to wait for my new engine.

If we do one in October, I'll be in! September is booked for me with engine shows.

The next ride we do, everyone should have cb radios so if there is another incident like Ryan had, everyone will know.

This is my kinda style.  For work I have to book things up to two years out to make sure the resources are available.  I almost never work inside the 6 month window.  I have been known to be confused as to what year it is because I am always working on next year.

For this fall I maybe willing to do a small scouting trip, the ride would be to scout out trails for the spring/summer trail ride.  I would limit to to only 3 or 4 jeeps.

Ok time to start thinking about this again.  I do need to find some new trails.  I hope to do that this spring.

I am finally able to say I will be there as long as I don't have to work.  I do not believe I will have any mechanical or build excuses this year.  Knocking on the end table as I type.

Is early summer or later summer better for people?  I graduate from grad school in June and will have more time.  I can also check with the club I am a member of and see if you we use the field we hold the annual military vehicle rally as the starting point, just do the weekend before the rally.  Of course you are all welcome to join the rally as well.  Info can be found at www.mvmvc.org

I have to put my new engine in the m38 some time early spring.  I am also doing a front disk swap.  I hope this does not affect doing any of the trail ride.

The discs are awesome.  It is best change I have made.  I wish i could have found some lighter rotors though.  The 1/2 ton gm discs are about 10x overkill.

You've been bellyaching about that motor for the past two rides. Just swap it out already LOLLOLLOL

Yup the new engine is sitting ready to go in.  I am hoping I can go a summer without needing to rebuild an engine this year.

I am using Suzuki parts on my swap.  Should be able to to use my stock wheels.

The more I think about this, the more I think May might be the way to go if we can .  There will still be some spring mud and the jeeps will run better with it being a little cooler.
