I don't think there is a single part of this thing that is from a '45, hardly even a 2a...... but, he says it is one of only 30 left Edited by sy552 - 03 July 2016 at 4:10pm |

I still see it Overall it looks like a nice rebuilt jeep with a 1945 title. |

ONLY thing I see on that jeep that is 1945 is the license plate.

I usually browse this site with Firefox.....clicked on Low's link in Firefox and it takes you to an eBay page that says it's closed.
Clicked on it without using Firefox and it comes up OK. |

Doesn't appear worth an investigation, but I filled out a form...
besides - it's outside of my jurisdiction. Does the FG on the license plate stand for FiberGlas? Edited by Joe Friday - 03 July 2016 at 10:47pm |

Dennis, are you saying that you are seeing it now with Firefox? I just checked it again and it takes me to an eBay page that says "This listing has been removed or item is not available."
Like I said I did get to check it with my other browser and it's not something I'm gonna be pursuing so no sweat, but it seems odd.....probably just my tablet. |

A lot of $$ for a nicely built but misrepresented jeep. The 2A page police are out in force too.

I am not on the Jeep police force, but something he says does make me curious.
He says: "I get stopped all the time from people that want to know about it. this is unit 1696 out of 1824 built and 1 of 30 left of the 1945 model. Parts are real easy to order online should you need any." I know we have had this discussion before about approximately how may 45's remain. Can't seem to recall the outcome. This seller believes there are only 30 remaining. What is the general consensus these days on approximately how many remain?

Curious too.....that number seems awfully low. Don't we have at least half that number or more right here on the Page? (I've got one of 'em here on my computer desk somewhere, better find it I guess)
