Here are some before and after photos of an ARROW 41 tail light that I recently purchased....

I sent Art a note showing him that before i bead blasted the housing and bezel, that they both were originally Olive Drab inside and out.....

Hi Lowenuf,
searching the forum for some answers about the tail light, I found your topic of your arrow 41 tail lamp.
I have a SPEN S trailer, and a friend gave me a DIETZ PROTECTOR 613 lamp that looks exactly as an ARROW 41 (externally and internally)
I guess the big difference is how the cable is connected to the back of the lamp. Here is the DIETZ:
The transparent glass for the license light is broken (BTW, do you know where could I find a replacement ?)
My main question for you is : could you remember how did you do for separate the internal parts ?
I was trying to remove the lamps bracket for clean it , but it looks like was fixed.
I noted also that your tail light in the back has some slots the allow turn the light approx 90°. Do you know which is the purpose of turn the light ? All the ARROW lamps has these slots? Mine have the same.
Thanks a lot in advance for your comment/advice.
Cheers

hi charlie.....

to remove the internals, "IF" they are the same as my Arrow:

1. remove the 2 screws that retain the clear lense...
2. carefully remove the clear lense (and i am sorry, but i do not know of a source to find another one)
3. remove the springs from both sockets after removing the bulbs
4. i am unsure if your rear socket is removable, but from the inside the wires should be soldered to fiber discs that will pull through to the front...
5. lastly the metal "shelf" should pull out through the front...

once the metal shelf is removed, the two mounting bolts will fall out as the shelf retains them....

i have no clue why they were designed to rotate 90 degrees unless it was for a multi-fitment reason..

Hi Lowenuf !!
Tks for your reply.
I will follow your instructions step by step.
I think the difference between the Arrow 41 and Dietz tail lamp is how the cables must be connected
to the back of the lamp.
I will check carefully points 3 and 4 !!
Thanks a lot for your time.
Cheers.
