Even if it is not for sale today, be persistent in checking on it.  My latest purchase took three years to wear the owner down.

OK lets get this straight...................... You went out "Jeep" hunting and found this? Not buying it! I need more details.......Was there a rumor of a jeep in the area? Was this a guy who knew a guy who might have a jeep in this old barn? Was it that someone heard that you were into jeeps and wanted you to come over and check something out? There HAS to be more to the story.Big smile

, Ok, I will try and answer your questions. I did buy the 3B behind it! and a GPW before I got there. No rumors, just facts, I have been there before, the owner is actually a member here , and has been into Jeeps since the beginning . I did go there to look over the 3B, this jewel (2A) was in the way!, as well as several others. I did not ask if it was for sale for two reasons, 1) He has had it forever and did not offer it to me. 2) I'mm not really interested in another 2A. I may go back this weekend to get the 3B, I will inquire!. I would bet it is not going anywhere . Dave I hope I answered your questions in order and am happy to answer more if not

Take care, Lee

PS, Hey Oilleaker, I'm a "WiLL-IS" guy!

That's right. I thought I remember seeing that speedometer before. It is in the equipment section below under instruments. Caught my eye for that speedo has a white background with black numbers. Very rare to see one of those although I have one with a 7-45 date stamped in back of housing.
