What is SUPPOSED to be here? This is a (genuine) 2 x 4 that runs the width of the Jeep just in front of the frame center crossmember. The tub was nailed to each end of it until I pulled the nails. How do the body hold downs look here on a "normal" 48? Help, pictures, WTFs appreciated! The pic is looking in over the right rear tire.

Look at pictures 3,4&5 down on page 1. The floor riser was the support, I believe.

I think that's it! Now how do I replace that?
Thanks!

Classic Enterprises sells them
Scroll down about 1/3 of the page, below diagram of floor parts, for the riser.

Or make your own.

.

I thought we already replaced the wood and nails? LOL

Oh wait . . ANOTHER one??  Ouch LOL    I forget about that one.

Let me know if you would like some help welding etc.    I still have your sheet metal here.

Anyone know what gauge that piece would be?

I am hoping to get my '51 '3A from my parents' over Labor Day weekend.    Maybe we can find time for some dual-scabby days.  Smile

Got the 2 x 4 out. Fitting the new bracing.  Had a flashback to my roots when I pushed the concrete blocks underneath!
