I believe there is an insulator or a rubber spacer between the hat channel under the body and the frame brackets. can someone tell me how thick they should be? is any spacer used under the front grill?
thanks for any help Harry E |

The material used is pretty thin like a HD conveyor belt material (not sure exactly but maybe 3/16"). The grill on my original 48 has two pieces of the material stacked:

Late reply, but I used square pieces cut from a heavy duty truck mud flap. Drilled holes in center. I also found a couple other uses, such as under the gas tank to isolate from tub. Around $20 BUCKS AT NAPA
