These are the markings on the bolts from the front ball joint felt retainers. These are the same from Jeep #34692 and from Jeep 140xxx.
Jeep #10021 has no such marking or any markings at all.
Screw, oil seal......................Part # A-872 (use 648877)

'47 #148295 had only 4 "H" bolts, the others were unmarked.
The 4 "H" bolts were used to fasten the axle ID tags, 2 on each axle. |

All of the bolts on my axle seal steel clamps are H except for 3-4
which some replaced with newer ones at one time. Serial 10231
|

Here is what was on mine. 2 on one side and 1 on the other did not have the H on them.
