Guy, does anyone on the site have contacts that are CCKW fans, I have joined one of the forums that is suppose to be about these trucks but no body has come back to me yet.
I have just got my GMC roadworthy and while I was doing some work on it a few days ago I discovered the frame number hidden under a heap of OD, its CCKW 353 38xxxxx HI. I know the H means it was actually a dump truck from new, although the deck on it now is still a tipper its all EDBRO branded English parts on it, so it started life as a tipper, became a drilling rig base for a while and then was made back into a tipper again, its a canvas cab model now but the previous owner said it was a steel cab before he decided he wanted to swap to a Canvas type.... Anyway, trying to find someone who knows all about these beasts ans perhaps over time I can source some more original parts for it. Thanks Adrian
