Hey everyone!  Date change for next year!!

I talked with the folks doing the Willys reunion in Missouri and they are locked into the 3rd weekend in September, 17-19.  So in order not to compete with them (since I'd like to go there!) I'm changing the date for our fall color tour to the 4th weekend, 24-26 September, 2010.

I've already started scouting out a new Grand Tour route, and I'm building a list of possible half day trips too.  So if you're coming by, give me a shout and we'll go jeeping!  Big smileBig smileBig smile

 Hey Mike,
 Thanks for the quick notice of change.  I've already started to save my pennies for the trip west, and I do like the JC reunion too, so I'm glad they won't compete!    I hope you know you have a place to stay here on your travels to JC.  I'm about 2 hrs from JC, but having just pulled from your place to here, I can tell you that its a full day and you may be ready for a rest!   Thats a long time from now, but I thought I would throw it out there for you. _popupControl();

Thanks for the offer Arick.  As we approach fall next year, we'll look to see if the JC Reunion is in our plans.  If it is we may take you up on it.  It'd be much better to visit along the way and arrive at JC alert and refreshed, then to rush it and show up worn out.

Hey Mike and Ellen,
Sorry for being behind on saying a Huge THANK YOU for the great time we had on the CFFC fall color tour!
When I got home the Shi# hit the fan.  I started a huge project in Rock Springs, Wyoming which took 100% of my time, then my mother passed away which took 100% on top of that.  So I have been doing 200% since I left your place!
Good news is the memories of that trip helped me in the tough times.
I would also like to thank all of the rest of the CFFC gang who showed up and even those back home supporting us.
As I look out the window, all the leaves have dropped and I think about how I can't wait until next year to do  the trip again!

THANKS!
Lew

Lew,
Ellen, Steve, and I send our condolences on your mother's passing.  We'll pray for you to have strength in dealing with your loss as you also tackle a tough new project.  And we'll include Frankie and the boys too.

You're welcome to come on back anytime.  We'd love to have you join us for a summer jeep ride, perhaps a little camping thrown in for good measure.

Best wishes for strength dealing with tough times.

Lew,

Our condolences go out to you, Frankie and your boys.  Brian's mother passed away two months ago, so we can sympathize with you.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

By the way, I haven't gotten around to thanking Mike and Ellen for hosting the fantastic Big smile   Fall Color Tour, but I think you and Frankie should get the BIG thank you Clap for putting together the CFFC.  It's just what we were looking for - a great group a people who share a passion for a "little old Jeep"(as Arick calls it Smile).  Thank you Lew and Frankie.

Hi Everyone -

Thank you so much for the words of sympathy on Lew's moms' passing.  He reads your posts but, it is still a bit tough for him to respond back.

He is doing ok.  He is very busy so he really hasn't had time to think about it much, although I know it is always on his mind.

Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.  Lew and I fly to Washington on Thursday with his dad.  His dad has been in town since the Tuesday after.  We will help him to get the acreage cleaned up a bit, chop down some trees and cut firewood.  We come back on Monday night the 26th.  Lew has been spending as much time, as his work will permit, over the last two weeks with his dad.  They have a really strong bond.

We all head to Swan Valley next summer for the memorial.

Again, thank you very much for your love and support.  We could not have asked for better friends than the ones we have made in the CFFC.

Frankie
