I know this is not about a Jeep but thought all of you guys would like this.

The shop I work at Just bought a Chenowth Fast Attack Vehicle or FAV. They were used in desert storm and the current version of them are still used today. They were used by the Special Forces / Navy Seals. 120 of them were made and delivered to the army in the mid 80's. Most of them were sold off and turned into dune buggies. Their are only 7 left that are still in the military condition that we know of. We are going to mount a Browning M2 .50 CAL on top of it. And as soon as the snow is off the ground we will take it to the range. It is going to be our shop promotional vehicle for a bit.

Anyone who served In Desert Storm and saw or was on one we are looking for more info about them.

My Dad's best friend in Washington state had 2 of them. I do not know if he still has them. I have a data plate from one but not sure where it is at the moment.

It would be on the passenger side dash.  Mine just has the holes where it was removed.

Thanks. I appreciate it. My FAV was delivered today and I am looking forward to starting a total rebuild.  I am pretty sure they all cam with 6-rib trans but want to make sure before I go find one.
Thanks
