GW's looking over his new digs.  As you can see, I no longer have a back yard.LOL

Mrs got what she wanted:

And I got what I wanted:

Still have to run some wiring and what-not but I'm pretty excited to get started on the MB.  I still have to finish up a couple projects for some page members, but it won't be long now.

Trudy is still working to try and understand the whole jeep ownership thing.
1.  Buy jeep
2.  Buy building to store jeep
3.  Buy tools to work on jeep
4.  Buy trailer to haul jeep.

Makes perfect sense to me.  what's so hard?!Big smile

If I move that bench on the left, I can get another jeep in, and if I put some racks in, I can stack 3 more in thereWacko

I'm gonna have to add a basketball hoop to the outside too.Smile

If you get a 4 post, make sure you get the high lift one, otherwise you'll have to take the top off, or add blocks under the posts to park a 2A underneath. (voice of experienceLOL) Nice shop.

Hey Jeff!  Gale has an entire 13 page thread devoted to the planning, building and furnishing of his Jeep house and you offer one picture and a couple of sentences of commentary?  I like surprises but come on!  Has this been in the planning for a while or a spontaneous decision?  We need details!  AND MORE PICS!

Congrats on a super addition to the county tax base,

Steven

18 x 20.  I would have gone bigger but as you can see, that's really all the room I have.

The thing is, there wasn't much to it.  As a lot of you know, I have wanted a building for a long time and I would have done this sooner but I just wasn't sure where I wanted to put it.  See that corn field behind the building? For a while, I thought I might get some of that land but that idea fell through.  Then I considered buying a lot a few blocks away for a bigger building but that has its inconveniences.  Not much really to take pictures of.  I bought the building, they came out and had it up in 12 hours.  Poured concrete and whala so to answer your question Steven, "yes" and "yes".Smile

No, her project was that big pile of landscaping rock you see in front of the building.  I had to shovel all that stuff and spread it out in the pool area.  Then she changed her mind on the color so I had  to dig it all up and today I have to put in the new rock.Cry .... so my back aint feelin' too groovy latelyBig smile

I dunno, looks a little too clean to me!  I think you need some hooks and shelves along the walls to stack up piles of jeep parts on.  And a few more oil stains on the floor so it looks like the General has been marking his turf.  LOL  Otherwise that's a very nice looking shop/garage!! Thumbs Up
