I did it the easy way and just went down to the parts store and bought a simple push in plug for an 1157 bulb and cut the original off and put that one on.....no big deal....but then again I wasn't stressing over whether it was going to look like it had the correct plug on it if you happened to crawl on in the fenderwell either. I very simple fix.

I don't think I ever claimed it wasn't "harder" just that it didn't allow for creativity and/or imagination......put your 'stirring stick' away.
