this post is pretty old, though not compared to the subject...  the 50 degrees of angle back:  is that off vertical or horizonal?
if anyone knows where hat diagram is, i would be grateful to know.

The holes should line up ( go through) the guset behind the fender If you do not have one the weight of the spare will rip your fender off.

I don't recall where, but a diagram is posted here with the measurements.
5 Jeeps, 4 HAM radios, and not enough things that go 'BANG!' (no, not hammers!)

Well,  I answered my own question.

I was able to find two holes in the old body after cutting away the metal that was welded over the rust spot.

Center of the top front bolt of the spare tire mount is 10.5" from the outside back of the tub, 8.25 inches down from the top of the tub.  50 degrees angled to the back.

Thanks.

It is time for me to drill the holes for the spare tire holder/mount.

Does anyone have the measurements of the location of the spare tire holer?  How far from the botton of the fender and at what angle?

I have looked around and cannot find the answer to this one.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
