Not much, fan install was a success And solved the cooling issue. Good news is I didn't blow a head gasket.   The only thing that we can think of about the weird coolent, is it was just lots of sediment and rust from the block that got steam cleaned running so hot all day.    After about the 5-6th time flushing the cooling system it started to stay clean.

So during the June flat fender run in NH, i struggled with high temps all day, up to 240 a few times.  The problem was lack of airflow when crawling.   It was due to my poorly designed cooling system,  too small, like 13" flex fan, no  shroud and too low on the radiator.

The problem should be fixed, i have removed the mechanical  fan, and replaced it with a 16" electric 2 speed, high CFM  fan.  It is fully shrouded  and i have taken the tranny cooling job out of the radiator and added a external tranny cooler with it own fan.

The bad news is i think i blew a head gasket,  i have bubbles in the radiator, im going to pickup a block tester and confirm what i suspect.

Pretty much done.   I need to put the rollbar back in...maybe.   And figure out a fuel/sump/pump problem.   But she's a driver.

Teaser shot with the seats, but again, Walck's screwed up my order. No front cushions.

I had some nice cj5 seats I was using, but I didn't like the look, so I decided stock seats were what I wanted.   But they were not going to just drop in where I want them. I want the seat as low as possible, and as much foot room as possible. Time to start cutting.
Nothing like cutting up $500 worth of new seat pans.

Lots of little sh*t done, going to try to fire it up today.   Getting close.

Been fighting some wiring issues, ends up being a bad turn/hazard switch in the flamimg river column. I have take the column apart and replace it when it gets here.

Got some good time in on the Willys over the weekend.    Got all the wiring done and starred to put the rest of the parts on, got the back done.

Wiring took some time,   Every connection is soldered and heat shrinked.   And all wire runs are loomed, except under the dash.

And for anyone wiring a Jeep, These little connectors worked great.    Adhesive lined heat shrink with solder for splicing wires.   Strip the wires, place connector over wires, wrap wire strands, and heat until it shrinks and solders flows.
