A couple of questions…
I would like to see some detail on the rock sliders you have installed. Are they bolted to the frame. Dimensions? I am planning some narrower 31" tires with new stock suspension. Maybe wheel spacers will be needed. My question - you have Rancho springs and non-stock shackles… how much lift are you running with the 33s?

The sliders are welded to the frame. They are made out of 3"x2" tube, With the ends boxed and welded. Here is a pic with the tub off. I BELIVE it is a ranch 2.5" lift, the shackles have no lift, and the body bushings are about 1/2" bigger, so probably 3" lift |

got a lot of the wiring done this weekend, squeezed in a couple of hours here and there between kids baseball and soccer games. Hard to keep track of where I was every time is stopped, and got back to it, but it is what it is. Its the only way this thing gets done before the end of summer. the EZwire kit is nice, no issues with quality, instructions could use a little work. but it doesn't take much to figure it out. Only unanswered question so far, (and im waiting to hear from EZWIRE) is what the little black wire off the ignition switch wire, is for? |

Got some good time in on the Willys over the weekend. Got all the wiring done and starred to put the rest of the parts on, got the back done.
Wiring took some time, Every connection is soldered and heat shrinked. And all wire runs are loomed, except under the dash. And for anyone wiring a Jeep, These little connectors worked great. Adhesive lined heat shrink with solder for splicing wires. Strip the wires, place connector over wires, wrap wire strands, and heat until it shrinks and solders flows. |

I had some nice cj5 seats I was using, but I didn't like the look, so I decided stock seats were what I wanted. But they were not going to just drop in where I want them. I want the seat as low as possible, and as much foot room as possible. Time to start cutting.
Nothing like cutting up $500 worth of new seat pans. |
