Did all 2As have them? Mine does not. I wondered if it got ripped off at some point, but the pan doesn't show any damage. Either that or I may not have a 2A pan/engine?

Pretty sure I read a stamp on the block that indicated it was a 2A engine... need to verify with Sean still. So all 2As did have them?

as far as I know, they all had them. Your original may have taken a hit and was replaced with a pan off a genny or air compressor or other such engine. Also, if it was purchased from the parts department, a genny style pan may have sold for much less than a jeep pan.
