What is the trick to getting one on???

My cj2a did not have one when I got, and I cant see to get the new one on, starts to go on but wont seat all the way.

Any tips??

Make sure the splines are clean.  A little file will clean out the gunk that may be preventing the wheel from sliding on all the way.  Otherwise, lots of WD-40.  Don't force it, you will never get it off.  Good luck

If you're still having problems a photo of the shaft end might help.

Maybe a photo of steering wheel splines, entry side. Don't forget never seize.

Apply antiseize when you install it. Makes it come off very easy in the future.
