Picked up a BT3-C for a couple of bucks out of Maryland last week to use with my 46 CJ2 ... it needs some work but all in all seems to be fairly solid .. plan on dragging it behind my M37 next fall for the MVPA Bankhead Convoy from DC to San Diego.

Lots of great info on this forum and I've already been in contact with Brian regards a front panel and tailgate and the BowMan .... No data plate of course, and I'm thinking its an early model as it had the supports on the back instead of the light panel before someone cut them off and put on a "Bubba" tailgate.

Plan to use Post WWII military style lights and mounts on the the little beast and a military 24volt connector as I will be pulling it behind my 53-M37.  WIll also swap out the current hitch with a pintle hook and convert it back after the trip.  I have the original 3/4 Military trailer for my M37, but the Bantam would be much lighter to pull the distance (3k+ Miles) and the wagon top framework will make a good spot for stretching out on my cot for the nights we camp out (33 Day Convoy).

Tried to post some pics, but for some reason the" insert image" function was not bringing up a menu  Confused  .

Ok some things making sense regards this old trailer .. its not a Bantam its a SPEN!

That would explain a few things regards the tailgate and front support leg ...

Anyone have any info on these trailers .... very much a Bantam Clone!

Ok, now I have a Bantam C trailer Chasiss ... Will blast it clean this spring and then nail down a tub .. couple of options .. could buy a MD Juan tub and modify the tailgate as I can get a new-made tailgate from Brian, or source a old tub that someone is looking to get rid of and go from there.

The chassis is in good shape with the hitch having been moved from the original mount on the frame to the top of the frame .. that can be remedied in short order.  the landing leg is in good condition and functions as it should.  The shocks are missing but the mounts are still in place .. wheels are original.
