Hello!

I'm new to the forum, and I'm really here to find a back seat for my 1947, but I thought I would post here to show you me and my jeep!  <3

Welcome to the 2A.  I usually see back seats occasionally on this site in the for sale section also put your needs in the Want to Buy section, their is a lot on e-pay.  Also great looking Willys looks like a great rabbit chaser.  We are blessed with a lot of knowledgeable people here on the 2A.
welcome,
williamsmar

Whats it powered by and are those shackle mounts on the front bumper? I like your style. This is a great place to even have a resto mod like yours. You can find a lot of really smart people here, that is if you need help. Looks like your Willys is pretty much done though. Welcome aboard !

Thanks for the love!

The willys is powered by a 2001 Chevy Vortec 4.3. It has a TH350 automatic tranny, a 4:1 ratio transfer case, Dana 60's with 40" tires.

TO be honest, I am considering downsizing it a bit (35's, Dana 44's) and using it more as a show jeep than a monster truck.  We do a lot of crawling... here are our others jeeps (but the 47 is truly mine... not his).

I also went the 4.3 from a 2000 and kept the fuel injection and computer. But I hooked it up to a T-15 with D44 flanged rear and a little (but rugged) D27 front. PS, PB. Drop pedals, only 3 1/3 lift on Mud Terrains 33 X 10.50 . I want an almost daily driver that can still do a little off road trips over our small rocks up here in New England. The Cj7 looks capable.
