Last week it was sorting out what the prior owner did to the rear support of my '47.  This week it is getting the passenger seat "grounded".
It appears a PO has jury rigged a piece of bent bar stock as a substitute for the missing rear legs on the passenger seat.  It appears to be too high, and is floating - crooked - about 2"+ over the wheelhouse.

First, does an original passenger seat's rear crossbar sit on the bracket on the right rear wheelhouse?
And two, if it doesn't rest on the wheelhouse, how high are the stock feet?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

The right side of the seat sits on this little bracket:

This is a '48, but all of my flatfenders are just like this. HTH  BW

Thanks Bruce...  I guess I shouldn't mention that it is the beginning of summer here in Argentina.  Nice dry Colorado snow just brushes away for the photos though...

So on the passenger seat, there is only a leg on the left rear side, and the right rear crossbar rests on the wheelhouse bracket, and there is NO right rear leg?   Yes?
