Can anyone help me identify the triangular shaped assembly below the carb. What is it for? Thanks

I believe it's called a velocity govoner, limits hi speed operation.

Ok, your question was I'd the carb!....... Looks like a Carter W-O with a velocity governor between it and the intake manifold...... Lee |

Not 100% sure about the carb. Looks like a factory vacuum advance line coming out of the base and CJ2A WO's didn't have that. Is that the original engine or a swap? Do you have an engine serial number?
