I may be in need of a fuel bowl gasket. What have you fabricated for that gasket? That worked.
Thanks Al

i have several new pumps sitting beside me, and they all have thin cork type material being used as a gasket to seal the bowl. you can probably buy it by the sheet and make your own :) low

Ahh cork! Didn't think of that one. That will work. I've heard of some using bike tube rubber but I'm not so sure it would hold up long to gasoline.
Thanks Al

Hello Hillbilly -
I would be interested in getting the correct number from NAPA for the cork gasket. I found a 2" flat rubber washer that it nearly dimensionally correct. It should be 2 1/8" ideally. I just cut a notch as required and it fits nice. 82 cents. But I hadn't thought about the way gas might impact the rubber. The rubber seemed to be a good solution at the time....... |

I have a TON of high density cork gasket material if anyone wants a piece. You could get quite a bit of it for 39 or greater first-class postage.
