I have one but made my own... Factory is very uncomfortable. I stashed it away because it matches my front seats, and if I ever want to go fully original there it is.
Instead I build one from square tubing and a simple design that places you at an angle similar to the front seats, and catches you in your shoulder blades instead of kidneys, want me to measure the stock seat?

Woody, I will be glad to tale some measured pics for you, the kind with the large print tape measure in the photo.  I just had mine sandblasted.  Also saved what may be the original bottom seat cushion.  My seat pan is shot but I may use plywood  to replace.  The metal seat back is still good.  I'm asking around locally to find access to a bead roller that will roll that "v" bead, as I need one for front driver seat to match back seat and passenger seat back.  After I eat turkey and wake up from my nap I may take the photos tonight.

I just read sammy's post.  The original seat could be racked back for more angle and pieces spliced into the side back tube for more back height.  I don't know about tailgate clearance but my new back floor does not have rear seat attach points so I can move rear seat forward for clearance If I don't use my seat stock.  I don't really plan on riding in the back seat that much.

I have had these same questions on my mind.
Hey Low,

When you're done eating turkey maybe you can fill in a few questions for us.

Anything else that I missed would be good too.

I didn't try to draw the "spikes" in the end that fasten the seat down to the floor.  Some pictures of those pieces would be good.

I didn't see any detailed dimensions.

I assumed Woody needed "early" seat dimensions.  Oops!Embarrassed

The side profile is traced.  Jeff's drawing was an MB and early rare CJ2A seat.  I have the common rear seat.

Per Jefff's drawing:

A  = width 32"  B = 19" C = 1" hat channel with just top flange welded to back

D=  1"OD tube through out  E= N/A because both seat and back are raked and seat assembly is offset from leg assembly.  F= 14 1/4" center leg to center leg

G= 1 1/2" front foot flange (1" tube squeezed shut and bent 90 degrees)   L= 2" radius

H= N/A due to rake and offset  I= N/A

 MANY MORE MEASUREMENTS IN PHOTOS DOE TO RAKE AND OFFSET.     Seat bottom and leg assembly raked 5 degrees  Seat back raked 20 degrees from vertical.

Jeff, stole your drawing to fill in. Click for full-size:

The curve radii may be subject to tolerance, I don't have any accurate way to measure those. Now, having given all that, you'll need to adjust your drawing somewhat.

The seat back is NOT perpendicular, but reclines 5ยบ:

Straight line would hit the floor pan about 1/8" behind the rear leg "washer":

Because of this, the 15.75" width measurement was taken from the level to the front edge of the tubing, and the 18" height is on the angle, not perpendicular.

Front legs are tough to get exact measures of.  The flat is 1.25" on the top side of the leg, and 1.375 on the bottom side, due to curvature:

I've got a lot more detail photos of the rest of the seat too, will post them as discussion gets to them.  Also will make some drawings of the backrest support channel & rear leg pegs.

Sean
