I was surfing the craigslist ads today and came across this ad.  http://helena.craigslist.org/pts/5290412753.html  

Interesting thing is the data plates indicating that it was made by the Johnson Furnace company.  I had never seen one of these and thought it was interesting.  Probably just shows my lack of actual knowledge of the 416's though.

There were several companies with contracts to build the M416 trailers including: Anthony, Fayette, Johnson, Furnace and Stevens to name a few.

Its my understanding that Johnson had a factory here in Troy, MI about 3 miles from my house. Supposedly, that's where the trailers were made. I haven't looked into that yet though to see if its true. The building I was told they were built in is still standing.
