Long shot. But does anyone have a front floor repair panel either pass or drivers waiting to be used? I really need the angle at the point the taper starts on the outside edge. Both of my sides are buggered up enough and with the joint doubler in the way getting a measurement accurate enough to use for making a new floor panel from scratch is out of the question. Would also be nice to know how long the outer edge flange is. It looks like about 3/4" on my messed up tub. Be nice to know what they use on the repop parts.

Thanks for looking

Yea I already been working on cardboard templates for the smaller patches that will run up on to the tunnel.

The trouble with the outer body taper angle for me is that the floor has been wrinkled inward right at the taper point. And the material isn't in good enough shape to straighten out. Since I will be putting a new lower cowl and rear side panel on both sides I was hoping to get the angle of the floor section correct. As it will then set the angle of the side pieces.

Maybe a measurement taken off the top edge at the door opening will be close enough.

At the point where the outside panel top starts narrowing, to the floor it is 8 3/8".  There is a support inside at that point.  Measurement was taken on driver's side, the tool box is in the way of a direct measurement on the passenger's side.  Hope that helps...

...okay...I make that angle at 15 degrees.

The sheet metal on that particular angle on Ol' Red is reasonably straight and I compared both sides of the rig and came up with the same measurement.

Hope that helps...need anything else let me know...Ol' Red's tub is up on sawhorses at the moment...Cry
