I stumbled across an add for this trailer on the internet. It was an old add but I still had to call and see if it was around. So I called the owner and he did still have it but it was in Arkansas, and I am in North Dakota. A little far to go and get it. But it just so happened that a good friend of mine was about to take leave for Christmas from the army. And he was driving right through the town that the trailer was in. So I asked him if he would pick it up for me, and he did.
The old lady is in some rough shape but i am still going to get her back up and running. She was missing her original axle, springs, data plate and tail gate chains. had a vice welded on and a modern hitch over top of the original (yet broken) coupler. I have found a correct axle and springs to put under her. I was really surprised that her Arrow 41 taillight was still in good shape and all of the glass intact. If any one would like to see some other pictures just let me know. And any info on the date of the trailer would be appreciated. Thanks. Edited by the 46 - 29 Aug. 2013 at 11:50pm |

Congrats on finding a Bantam T3-C Trailer.
Looks like its actually in pretty good shape. Could you send me your pictures (full size unedited) for my web site http:bantamt3c.com to 48cj2a@sbcglobal.net Also when you get a chance send me some close ups of the reflectors showing the stamps and the lens embossing information. I sent you a PM too.

I'm going to guess 1947, look at the database on the T3 website that Art linked and you can look through the various details to get an idea of the date range. Nice find on the taillight (I'm jealous)

Thanks guys for the help. I have been to bantamt3c.com many times before. It has a lot of good info on it and helped me in the purchase of it. I was thinking 47 but it is just nice to hear it from other people that know what they are talking about, it is a good reassurance.

Just some more pictures of work on the trailer and one of the axle that I found from a different seller than the trailer, I am glad he had one.
Had to put in some patch panels and plug up some pin holes. |

$#@$%!
You found one here in Arkansas? I've only seen one other besides mine. NICE to find an intact Arrow tail light. That thing is in great shape!

I had some down time from working on the 2A and thought I would put the Arrow 41 together. So here are some pics of the process.
All the parts ready to go. The bulb assembly painted white as it was when I took the light apart. Bulb assembly and taillight lens in. From the bottom. Wires installed. All done. Still can make the words out. |

Very cool. Are you painting your trailer to match to your jeep like the model?

I have not been working on the Bantam much lately due to the fact that I am trying to get my 2A done. But I did come across something that I have been needing for the trailer. A data plate, it is #913 so that is now what my trailer will be once I get it finished.

Hi,
congratulations. Tks for sharing. One question: which kind of plug will you use for the trailer taillights? Cheers,

Charlie Jeep - I will be using the coupling socket and cable assemble. Along with the corresponding socket that fits in the spot in the back of the jeep above the driver tail light. This is what the cable looks like.
