We have had a great response to the recent 5 page JP magazine artical on the 2014 Rally.
2015 entrys are coming in steady, the Lodge is receiving room reservations at a much faster pace than before and we will prob. have to limit the amount of banquet tickets available for this year. So if you are interested in attending the Rally this year, get your registrations in early and check with the Lodge for reservations. We also expect a much larger swap meet this year, so those of you interested in this part of the show may wish to reserve space early. Download the flyer and entry form from our website: http://www.mw-willysjeep.com/ We hope you had a great holiday and a safe new year. Looking forward to seeing you at the Rally. It is still early in our registrations, but we have had contact from Barney's Jeep Parts and other vendors from last year's show. We have a lot of interest from local used Jeep part vendors. We attended the Off-Road Expo at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio last weekend and passed out over 1,000 flyers to interested participants, vendors and spectators. The show participants are sending in their registrations early this year, and we are quite pleased with that.
We would urge everyone to make reservations early because the Lodge rooms are being booked quickly, and the lake view rooms are being offered at a special lower rate this year. These lake view rooms are already about half reserved. The banquet is likewise filling up rapidly. The five-page article about last year's show that appeared in the March issue of JP Magazine has created a frenzy of interest in this year's show. We expect large numbers of participants, vendors and spectators, and we will welcome help from anyone attending the show. It doesn't have to be a large commitment; just a few hours of your time would help make things go smoother. We are putting together a work schedule, and if you contact us, we would be happy to work with you on a time that is convenient to you. We have added a new activity to the show this year. Weather permitting, late Friday afternoon, we will have a guided ride through Hueston Woods Park, and then a little mild off-roading on John Ittel's farm right next to the park. After that, we plan a cook-out at or near the covered bridge in the park. The park is an ideal place to ride without fear of being run over by a semi. People expressed a desire for this activity, and we aim to please as much as possible. Once again, all of these activities require volunteers to help make them happen. We'll do our best to keep you updated on developments as they occur. If you have specific questions, do not hesitate to contact us. The Willys Jeep Rally Staff |

In case anyone missed the five-page article that appeared in the March, 2015 issue of JP Magazine, here's a link to the online article and some great photos of the 2014 Willys Jeep Rally.
http://www.fourwheeler.com/events/1503-the-midwest-jeep-rally-sweaty-jeeps/ At the 2015 show we will have even more Jeeps with working implements. In addition to last year's implements, there will be a rock crusher and another trencher added to the active demonstrations. This will not be a static viewing in a parking lot but a chance to see these Jeeps in action in the field doing what they were designed to do. If you have the skills, you may even get a chance to help operate the machinery. No other show can offer this opportunity. We are very excited about the positive response to this year's show. There is no other show that offers the full-range Jeep experience we do. With the addition of this year's trail ride on Friday afternoon, we have added yet another key aspect to the show experience. We are now acquiring vendors and sponsors for the show. They will be listed on our Face Book page as commitments are made. John does a very good job of keeping the Face Book page updated so check it frequently for new developments. If you want to join us for a unique event, please pre-register now and make your reservations at the Hueston Woods Lodge or campground. That way you will ensure that you can partake in all the activities you wish. Rick & Paulette Riley The Willys Jeep Rally |

If anyone was wondering whether it would be worthwhile to
attend The Willys Jeep Rally, you can rest assured that you will be
getting your time and money's worth of activities, demonstrations, good
fellowship and donations from our sponsors.
We received a delivery today from FedEx that required a semi to deliver. It included a XHD 30,000 recovery gear kit, travel mugs, Jeep printed beach towels, brochures, catalogs, decals and banners. These plus the generous donations of gift certificates, hats, t-shirts, calendars, magnets, etc. from other vendors will be used for the raffle, trivia games and door prizes. We are overwhelmed with the support we are receiving from the Jeep community. All we can ask of you is that you attend and experience a Jeep event like no other. The Lodge is filling up, so make your reservations now. Or make plans to stay at the campground at Hueston Woods. Rick & Paulette Riley |

We are pleased to announce that once again JP Magazine and Fourwheeler Magazine writer Jim Allen will be attending the Willys Jeep Rally 2015 for event coverage and also to find specific Jeeps to photograph for feature articles in the future.
Hope to see everyone at the show! JG |

Am I too late to sign up? It sounds like a great even to attend with the agricultural attachments. Can we trail ride through all the acres as well?

You can still pre-register for The Willys Jeep Rally. Just go to our website at www.mw-willysjeep.com and print out a registration form and mail it to Pete Dunkel. Also, if you want to stay at Hueston Woods Lodge, you should make your reservations now. Just mention The Willys Jeep Rally to get the special lake-front/show-front room rate. There are also camping sites available through Hueston Woods State Park. All phone numbers are listed on our site.
Our Schedule of Events for the show is also on our website. We will have two trail rides on Friday afternoon, one staying on park roads and one going on to John Ittel's farm property. These will be supervised rides led by show personnel. The rides will both end up at the covered bridge picnic area for a cook-out. Of course, as with all activities, this is weather-permitting. If the weather does not cooperate, we will still be able to have our pizza party at the Lodge on Friday. The park roads are available for cruising all weekend, and many of our participants take advantage of this opportunity to explore the park on their own. With the low park speed limit, you don't have to worry about being run over by fast-moving vehicles. We look forward to seeing all our old and new friends at Hueston Woods. Maybe we will have a trenchoff! Excited to see the working demos again this year! JG |

We are pleased to report that we have vendors signed up for The Willys Jeep Rally from all over Ohio, including Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton and Cincinnati. Vendors are coming from surrounding states also, including West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. Of course, our good friend, Barney's Jeep Parts, will be joining us with his impressive parts inventory. There will also be a good selection of Jeeps for sale, ranging from CJ2A models to Wranglers, including FC's and other Willys trucks.
And yet, to answer your question, we still have room for more! With a fee of only $25 for the weekend, The Willys Jeep Rally is a win-win situation for vendors of Jeep related products, whether new or used. Print out a pre-registration form from our website and reserve your spot now. www.mw-willysjeep.com See you soon. Rick The Willys Jeep Rally |

Art,
The Willys Jeep Rally is scheduled for Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, 2015. We found over the years that everyone packed up and left on Sunday morning, and spectators who showed up on Sunday were disappointed. For those who can't get enough of the Rally, folks have started showing up on Thursday to take advantage of the park and surrounding area's amenities. Also, arriving on Thursday allows people to be fresh and rested for Friday's events. This arrangement seems to satisfy the participants and spectators as well. Rick The Willys Jeep Rally |
