Scrap prices must be up in KC if that's a $1000 in scrap.
I like it too....the cab looks a lot like our old 51 Dodge pickup at least in the windshield and door hinge department. The builders must have shortened the doors and it looks as if there may have been a roofline adjustment as well.
I kinda like it too, just not the price.

Interesting! , I recently looked at a c/l GPW with a like model A cab and the guy wanted way more for it and there was a lot less of it there . Kilroy, not enough jeeps yet! .

That is a super rare Bonneville speed record Willys. Holy Cow! I think it managed 49 MPH on it's first leg. 2nd pass 50! Good running gear, all you need is a tub and windshield. You'll spend that just overhauling a engine, not to mention buying the core engine. Hummmm. John

Where are they getting a 1000 in scrap value... i just scrapped a champ( i know a mortal sin, but it was nothing but rust) and it weighed 4500lbs and i only got $256 bucks for it in scrap. Dude dont know what hes talking bout.

Wow, Luis, cars here in NY are going for $280 a Gross ton (2400 lbs?) You got about half price! (But I agree $1000 in scrap, even if you separated everything (radiator, battery, engine block, etc.) is dreaming.
