I have been searching the net and this site for a couple of days. I have consulted my service manual and my master parts list book, and have the major parts on hand (star washers, T bolts, wave washers, and at least specs for screws and nuts... found some help here: https://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/windshield-adjusting-arm_topic2598.html ; -- BUT: - where do the wave washers go, exactly? - Do the 'dimples' on the lollipops face outboard or inboard? - What backing nut is used where the lollipops attach to the inner and outer windshield brackets? Got everything painted and I am trying to do a correct final assembly. Any help appreciated. M

OK, so here is what I now know... - where do the wave washers go, exactly?- I DO NOT KNOW - Do the 'dimples' on the lollipops face outboard or inboard? - Dimples convex side face inboard? - What backing nut is used where the lollipops attach to the inner and outer windshield brackets? Some standard nut... or maybe something special that looks standard? Thanks. Got everything painted and I am trying to do a correct final assembly. |

Here is a full view...
In the photo, you can see the wavy washer on the lower screw, between the frame and the lolli-pop. I purchased the complete hardware kit for the lolli-pops from Ron Fitzpatrick Jeep Parts. Edited by athawk11 - 29 May 2018 at 3:02am |

Did RFJP lollypop fastener kit include the "nutserts" that are installed in the windshield frame tabs?
Thanks, Jeff

I already had the nutserts in my frame tabs, I do not recall that they were provided, but the 1/4"-28 x 7/8" screws were not.
