: How did you get it up to 50? Mine won't even approach 45, unless I am going down hill (which there are few in Florida) with a gale force wind at my back!

: : you've been introduced to the 'death wobble'whioh is not too uncommon. It comes from a combination of factors with worn steering parts usually topping the list. The slack in the steering system lets a resonance take hold and the wheels slap back and forth. I've best been able to get it under control by turning the wheel a bit - to tighten up the linkage.
: : Scroll down the page as this topic is not new and there have been lots of good tips offered about what to do. I'd jack up the front end and check out the linkage from end to end. I've also found that adding a hydraulic steering stabilizer really helps but it isn't the answer to the basic problem.
: : Good luck!
I was going down a big hill. Speedo read 55. Very brief span of time. I dont think she, or I could have sustained that speed for more than a few minutes.
I had read alot of the posts about the wobble, I was under the impression that once it was there, it was always there, but I guess it takes something to set it off?
