Jeep identification

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a jeep.
I cant tell if it is a CJ-2 or 3A.
It has a one piece windshield, which would make me think it is a 3A, but i thik
that the later models of 2A had a one piece windshield.
The spare tire mounts to the side.
It was manufactured with no tailgate, it is part of the body.
The gas filler neck is in the back like on a CJ-5 or CJ-7
It was also manufactured without roll bars.
The data plate in the dash is rusted over, So I cant tell.

It is in a junkyard, and it runs, so I want to save this jeep.
