Tom Bunting didn't come by his column-shift 1946 CJ2A, s/n 33298,
in the usual way. He won it in a raffle! The California Association
of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs Inc. buys and raffles a Jeep every year to raise
money for their efforts to promote safe four wheeling in California.
In 1989, Tom was the lucky guy. The Jeep was purchased from a ranch
in Placerville CA where it had been since 1955 and was restored by volunteers
with donated and purchased parts.
