Look for "JEEP" in script form on front of tool box.
Often times the top bow pockets are missing. Tool indents on drivers side? Those are some of the glaring omissions. Pictures will help.

A sure way would be if there is a AMC# on the floor board gusset that is located on the drivers side where it meets the frame.

Does it have fairly solid floorboards that haven't been repaired? If so, it's probably not original since you're in SD...lol. "Willys" pressed into the sides of the hood, lower part of the windshield, and tailgate. MD Juan's (re-pop new tub) have this too but it would probably look newer. "Jeep" script pressed on the front of the pax seat toolbox might be original. Serial number data plate on the firewall in the engine bay near the oil bath air cleaner on the pax side...still there...or the four rivet holes where one once was?

Yes its in real good shape for SD which it came from a guy in WI, i can see the lil weld spots/circles in the side n such.....no willys stamped in the windshield or hood but it has it in the tailgate yes!! It does have the original VIN plates on the firewall n dash plates are there also....i dont see anything stamped in the floor or on the passenger side toolbox as you pointed out!!

You may need to make the pics smaller to post them.

Is there a glovebox? Original CJ2-As didn't have those. Older MD Juan tubs did. How about the windshield frame? It's possible to have a 3A or M-38 windshield frame on an original 2A, but Juan tub kits came with fake M-38 w/s frames back in the '70s and '80s. It's also possible someone added a glovebox but that's not as likely as a repro tub having one.

Funny thing about these. Maybe it's a partial re-pop. You can buy separate body pieces, or you can buy an entire tub kit. Perhaps, just speculating, PO bought a kit but used the original tailgate with "Willys" on it. The tub kit without the Willys stamp is cheaper (not saying it's worse, it just isn't Willys stamped because of MOPAR licensing). I bought a repop MD Juan with Willys stamps...and it didn't come with the "Jeep" stamp on the front of the pax under-seat toolbox. I still have my old tub and tins, and I'm thinking of using my original hood and tailgate to keep as much original as I can. I also bought a new VIN/ID plate from KWs and had it stamped with the number on the title that I can pop into place on the firewall...so that might not be original either. Fun! :)
