I seen a lot of commits about the bolt and tight clearance on them, I just talking
but any chance they make a bolt that size that work with allen wrenches.

I'm certain you could find a bolt with an Allen head on it, but it's not the bolt that people have issues with, it's the tablock washers. I have had zero problems getting my stock Kelsey-Hays wheels off around my Dualmatic hubs with washers installed. Others have had issues.

Thanks Dave. Like I said before, I appreciate your service to our country and having the same love of these old keeps as the rest of us. I hope the parts bring those Dualmatics back to life for you.
Stay safe my friend.

Hey Tim, do you still have the gaskets and lock tab washers?  I've got an old set I got from a used axle I bought and they are in need of a rebuild.  That being said, have you given any thought to making the rotating levers?  One of mine is broken off and the rest are pretty bent.  I could probably fab something myself, but laser cutting them would be a lot cleaner.  Thanks for the help and let me know if have any questions for me.

Hey Ryan,

I sent you a PM showing the pricing. As far as the lever arms, I have two shops working on a feasible pricing structure for them. The replication is the easy part.

Thanks, Tim

Tim,

How much is a set of gaskets and washers?

Do you also have the gasket between the Jeep Hub and Dualmatic Hub when installing them for the first time?

Just got my parts from Tim and I have to say they are excellent.  Thumbs Up  I'm looking forward to rebuilding the hubs and getting them ready to roll.  I'll be sure to post some photos when complete.

I can't say that the Dualmatics were my favorite hubs. My first Jeep had them and they were a PITA but period correct I suppose. If you are a young dumb kid and manage to bury one side of your Jeep in a snow filled ditch, they are a pain to dig down to and then get the levers loose that are frozen in place and you have do get out a screwdriver to pry them out to turn them. A PO managed to bash them up a bit.

Ol' Unreliable came with Dualmatics.  I used to carry a cheap screwdriver for operating the hubs.  I lived in an apartment at the time.  I couldn't believe how many cheap, super-cheesy screwdrivers got stolen there.  The worthless dope heads who lived nearby would steal anything, anything at all.  I wish all those pieces of trash would hurry up and OD on something and die and save us all a lot of trouble.
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable
