I am looking to swap out the engine in my CJ2A from the L-134 to a V-6, preferably something that I can make fuel injected. I want to turn my Willy's into a rock jeep and I know that a V-6 will be perfect for it.
Can anyone give me suggestions as to a motor that I should look for in order to swap? Thanks everyone!

Lots of options. 4.3L Chevy is a popular one. Also the Dauntless V6. These days you can pretty much make any engine fuel injected. Novak and others make adaptors and I would start there since it might be the most expensive purchase you'll have to make to change engines. Good news is someone here has probably already done it which makes it easier for you.

No reason you can’t have a “rock Jeep.” That runs a L134.
Having said that, your rig, your choice.

do you know what years 3.8 V6 buick red engines will work with Novak adapters ? My willys jeep is cj2a 1948. I am having issues finding a 70 to 80 engine, does any of the later 3.8 red work with these adapters ?
