Now come on guys, if you're going to have a Landy, have a useful one!
But seriously, getting back to "other projects" this weekend coming sees us celebrating the 50th birthday of the MG Midget, so a lot of my time has been taken up with getting my MkI Midget ready for the trip up, and then a weeks 'pootling about' and then the trip home again... Meet Smudge - successor to Smidge who succumbed to terminal tin worm! My run around ... |

I love those old hit and miss engines Brian! It is totally amazing how the old timers could get so much work out of a 1 1/2 horse engine just by using such a big fly wheel. Really cool! I have been looking for an old H&M for a while now. I just missed a "freebee" buy a few weeks.

I like the York set-up, I had one on my 99TJ. I would use it to air up coming off the beach, it sure beat waiting for an hour to use the coin op ait machine and it ment I could get off the beach at different trails where there was no air.
It's a nice YJ too looks like fun!

1987 YJ - She's been my daily driver since the snow melted. I've put quite a bit of work into it- replaced the dash, repainted, rewired, bedlined the interior, new bumper, etc. |

Ha, well it doesn't have any wheels but it still had to be painted.
this is what I have been working on outside of the Willys.
I've done everythign without any sub-trades. In fact, I wasn't permited to start the Willys until I had the kitchen cabinets built and installed !!!

Looks like a Honda CT-90 or 110 in the background. I had a Trail 90 names Wilbur, she was my first love. I rode her everyday to high school. She's been
restored by me once but since has gone to pot. Once I get some time I'll
do it again.

I've been a model builder since I was a little kid, and that's what I do when not messing with the CJ. Next Monday I'm off to Muncie IN to compete in the US National Championships with this 1/6 scale JN4D-2 Jenny. 7 ft wingspan, 10lbs and fun to fly. Photo courtesy of Flying Lines Magazine.

I spend my time helping my oldest sone build a ferrari killer- '71 240Z race car. Straight six stroker motor with turbo and fuel injection. The jeep is a 45 GPW from WWII.
Then I am working on a WWII weasel '44 built by Studebaker
This is a project for my club- the MVCC soon to be followed by this one:
a 155 mm self propelled gun to restore for the Colorado National Guard. Makes working on jeeps childs play!
