Are you looking for a November 41 T84 case or cover? I've never seen the covers marked.
Thanks
Jay

Hello Jay

I had meant the Case ... not the cover ... My mistake.

November 41 dated case is what i need. Or earlier.

Thanks

  Arsene,
I have a case that may very well be the one you’re looking for. It’s buried under a lot of snow right now and it’s too cold to go digging for it. I’ll get it dug out as soon as I can. BW

Edit to correct Arsene’s name. Damned spellcheck changed it to Arsenal. Angry

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.

I got that transmission dug out today and cleaned off, and don’t find any numbers stamped in the top of it anywhere. BW

I will, but there’s not much to see - it’s still in the jeep. Maybe I can verify the location of the fill hole, etc. BW

Snow was piled up against the jeep and I didn't want to get all wet and muddy, but I'll try to get under it and check on that, maybe get some cast numbers off of the right side.  BW

Well, I guess I struck out. I can see from above, the oil fill plug on the LEFT side, and I can see the boss where the fill plug would have been on an early case, on the right side. So, I guess this jeep has had its transmission replaced sometime in its life. No surprise, is it?  BW

That's a really early jeep!  How cool!

My early 1943 MB came titled as a '41 Ford.  Wishful thinking on somebody's part.
