I'm purchasing the last set of Steam Bent Bows from Norm - Same guy that produced Rogers set below.

He informed me that he will no longer be producing these again; but I've convinced him to run another batch if I can get 5 sets commited and it will require a deposit before he will begin.

He has enough materials to produce a total of 7 sets if more are interested.

I have the required 5 plus two for a total of seven but don't let that stop any interested parties from requesting a set.

This is constructed of clear fine-grain oak which sounds to me like nearly furniture quality material.

A set of 3 bows (with the metal slats to fit in the stake pockets as seen below) will be around $270-$300 plus shipping from NY to your address.

Here's a limited time chance to get a rare optional accessory for your trailer. This gentleman is giving us a top quality product that can't be easily duplicated.

Please give this a thought and let me know.

Turns out Art Gloss with the 45 CJ2A Fire Jeep seen at the Willys Reunions is the other buyer of his last two sets with me and is going to pick my set up at the MVPA Show in Evansville, IN next weekend to save me the shipping from NY.

Art, I bought a set several months ago, and Norm told me then he only had two left,
and the same (no more to be made).  Great that you talked him into a few more, and
I hope members expecting to get a bantam will take advantage of this offer.  They
are extremely well made, and spot on to the originals I've seen.  Just my nickels
worth (used to be two cents ....obamanomics....you know, part of the stimulating package)

OK..I see that you already have the seven sets spoken for.Cry   Please put me down for any future sets if you do make any more.  I just got my trailer last week.  I would hate to have to make these myself.

Update from Norm...

Just to let you know all of the metal for bows and stake brackets is finished. I'm now waiting on the steam bent bows. Once I get those then I have to cut all the wood, locate and drill all the holes, and mount the hardware. I pre-assemble all of the bows then disassemble them again for shipping. I've ordered special boxes for shipping the bows and the size will not accommodate the mounted hardware. So far, everything is coming together nicely. Hopefully, when all this is finished there will be a lot of happy bow owners out there.

Most of you should have been notified overnight that our bows are ready for shipment. Please be prompt with your payment to Norm.

Also a note if you use paypal. On payment choice Select :personal" instead of "purchase" for goods and services and do a payment owed. This will keep Norm from getting the high paypal fee.

If anyone is still interested in a set let me know.

Norm,
Received mine today, they look great and were very well packaged, can't wait to get them on the trailer. I'm sure the other guys will be very pleased with them.
Thanks

Hi Norm,
I received mine yesterday, and I must echo Mike's comments. They sure do look great and were very well packaged. Shipping was very quick also. Thanks again to Art for helping put this together and Norm for his most excellent work on a great product to keep the bantams looking very original.

Norm,
Just received your top bows. 1st rate quality and craftsmanship!

Big thanks to you for providing the skills and desire in making the restoration items available to even a greater number of Bantam owners.

I'll send a private message to Art, thanking him for his part in requesting you to batch up another run of top bows.

Great job in all aspects; they arrived without a scratch the 2,800 plus miles. Good packaging.

Just opened up my box of bows and brackets as well. They look great. My most sincere thanks to Art and Norm for making this happen. This is just another fine example of why this forum is so great... out standing people willing to share their time and tallents for the benifit of others.

to many jeeps, parts, and accessories to list here, but apparently enough to keep me in trouble with my wife.

Just heard from Norm and he has enough material for 3 more sets.

canorisa is down for one

mjohnson is down for one

JoeFrazer is down for the last set

Price is still the same :

I do have enough wood bows in the raw (uncut) and hardware to make up 3 more sets of 3 bows each. After that, I will be done. The price is still $270.00 ea. for the bow sets and $54.00 for the hardware brackets for the side rails.

All Sets have been sold and Norm is no longer making them.
