Speaking of top color....note how not one top panel matches another.. Great proof that there is NO CORRECT EXACT COLOR   for canvas. Or at least it proves it to me...lol.

Color was changed from OD to Slate Gray at s/n 136546

Small window frames & plastic were the same

Main bows, front & rear, were the same

SOME canvas pieces were the same.

Almost every vintage photo shows a different shade of color between front & rear sections, even the newer Slate Gray.  Since the front/rear kits were sold separately, it's clear Willys didn't bother with "color coordination".

I originally though that this photo was a recent image. On the EAA's website for the Marlboro Airport it is actually a vintage photo, so that nice CJ-2A and gas truck might not even exist anymore.
