Been a while LOL. I guess it turns out I like driving Jeeps more than working on em. Although, I am pretty darn good at ordering parts. On the shelf I have a new starter, tail lights, kit for my WO Scout pilot Carter That I fixed, some of Mark’s micro switches for a back up light (that I don’t have), 2 front axles, 2 Dana 44 rear axles, a T90/D18 with a Ramsey PTO, a Ramsey PTO winch, a whole box of rebuild parts from Novak for the trans/TC, a rebuild kit for the Ross Box. And the list goes on.
But, the pile got a little smaller yesterday. Beach Bum up in Seattle need a Dana 44. And he needed to get it to Herm The Overdrive Guy I’m down in Vancouver about 45 minutes away. So while I was at it I figured as long as I was going down there I might as well the drop off the Trans and TC and have it rebuilt. It’s coming back as a T90C with terralow gears, an overdrive, and tapered bearing intermediate shaft. I’ll be able to go even slower. And won’t have to hold it in first gear no more. At least in a couple years when I get it in the jeep The |

I have tried both the WO and a Real Solex...had the same "stumble".
I found that my advance weights where stuck. Hence no advance on the ignition causing the stumble, and also caused overheating. Cleaned and oiled them up, no more stumble or overheating with either carb anymore.
