Thanks for the thumb's up Ol' Unreliable.  The frame is constructed out of 1.1/8" mild steel tube. I have lots of it left over from a school kart project that I ran in the 80's. At the time, I cast the alloy formers to bend the tube and have had them stored ever since. I had to make a new stand to hold the formers as the original wasn't up to the job. So, remembering how resistant the tube is to being bent, I constructed   it Victorian style.kart project that I ran in the 80's.
