Hi Charlie, are these on YOUR CJ2A or on ANY CJ2A? Some of those belong, some may not.
The bottom 2 bolts i believe hold one part of the side steps that were an optional extra on CJ2As. So those should be correct if the jeep had side steps. The inboard bolt/hole looks like it would like up with the hole in the top flange of the transmission support attaching bracket. The top bolt in the gusset flange i don't believe should be there, but i may be wrong. Mike

The two bolts to the right - spot on (so optional). The upper bolt at the base of the cowl pillar may or may not be needed:
The inboard bolt (roughly center of the floor pan - and very near the crossmember) is the #2 body hold down:

The inboard one belongs there, but it shouldn't be a carriage bolt.

There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

Many thanks for your answers.
The photo posted doesn´t belong to my CJ 2A. I don´t have any photo of my jeep floor now. I will take some, checked what I have and posted. Tks

I have the 2 holes on the right - empty. Now I know it used to have steps.

..... and you have the remains of the step mounting bracket on your frame, after the step was torn off. So that confirms it!

Another good catch! Didn't even notice until you pointed it out! I use my Parts Manual for my 3B. I think all the bolts are identified in the Parts Database: |
