Does require a fb sign on.

BleepinJeep.com (and youtube channel) has vid of JPet attempting a rock face sludged with water and mud from the rain. Its on trail 39 at Windrock.

https://www.facebook.com/BleepinJeep/videos/357158658520124/

I'm guessing this will be in your vid coming soon....

No, I have lots of video of the other guys but I can't video myself and drive at the same time

Only two of the jeeps of the 10 made it up that wall and no jeep with doors. Matt has that video on his instagram. I read some of the comments where people are telling me I need to lower my tire pressure and try to walk it... I can assure you that I did try to walk it first even though 5 or six jeeps greased it up real good before I even got there.   Some of the jeeps never made it past the lower ledge.

I'm not sure if/when, I'll put together a video but here is a link to my google photos with my raw footage:

Jeff, I never get tired of seeing pics and video of Bam Bam out on the trail. Love the shots of Bam Bam next to the Frankenjeeps - truly David and Goliaths....

Nice vids. Looks like a lot of stickies got a good rubber wear on that little obstacle.

Wonder what her wb/trackwidth is? Looked to have both leafs SOA setup with a reversed front shackle.

what other trails did you run while at Windrock? Lots to pick from for sure. Glad to see you made the trip down to Tennessee.

We ran trail 39 on Monday. There were 10 jeeps. We started the trail at 10:00 and didn’t get off till about 8:00 that night. Here is the video I posted in the Windrock thread:

The video is a bit long but I decided to show all the attempts so you can gauge what it took to get these jeeps through. In the description of the video, it has time stamps for the particular obstacles. You can click on the time stamps to take you right to the footage.

Jeff,

Do you know what those two Jeeps in the still above from that video are?  To my eye they look too big (at least too long, possibly too wide?) to be a stock MB or 2A.  Is my eye off?  Or are those not stock dimension bodies?  If not stock, do you know if they are one-off customs or something that might be available from the aftermarket?

Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,

They are far from stock. They are owned by Randy and Carson Qualls and both have been featured in JP Magazine:

http://www.fourwheeler.com/jp-dirt-n-drive/2017/1708-father-and-son-flatties-best-in-show-2017-jp-dirt-n-drive/

http://www.fourwheeler.com/features/1705-wheeling-a-classic-jeep-in-moab/

The specs are in the first article.

They both have 37 inch tires which were the second smallest tire size in our group. Any guess what the smallest size was?

Randy is "R Qualls" on the forum.

Sorry, I wasn't clear but the first article answered the question I meant to ask.  I was pretty sure the running gear and tires weren't stock Wink, but I was less sure about the bodies.  From the article it seems that Randy's yellow Jeep was stretched in the door opening length-wise (that much I was sure about), and otherwise they are stock dimensions.

Thanks!  (and three really cool Jeeps there!)

Bob,

These scaled one-offs are scattered here and there and can be a decepticon of sorts.   Back in the '80's and early '90's I saw some very unique flat fender willys bodies that were narrowed or stretched (for an Automatic) or both.
Unless familiar with original dimensions, those were cleverly done and looked trick.

So, Jpet, wow, those were some nice photos on your goggle page, and what a greasy-pig slithering day.   Until 8pm even, and lucky to be done by then. You guys were probably beyond-ready for dinner.   hahaha
There some slippery spots getting into my dad's hunting camp if it has rained, and must winch through them, or it is a no-go.

That windrock while wet looks like one slippery booger of a trail, and gave those rigs and drivers a good "run-for-the-money" !
