Bob has been a great help to us at Farm Jeep and we asked him to tell us how he got started.  Enjoy -

I've always enjoyed talking with Bob W, and will reference his book on frequent occasions.  The CJ-3A is a complex vehicle...historically.  He made it a lot easier for those of us that want to know why, what, when, and where.

Thanks again Bob.  And thank you Barry for sharing the interview.

Tim

I'm not a great interviewer and there is a lot more to Bob's story than I was able to uncover.  I continue to be amazed at the amount of research he has done and the breadth of his Jeep world knowledge.  I keep hoping for, if not books, then more articles.

Bob is an amazing guy, from Jeep Jamboree trail guide, to researcher, to web master but you would never know talking to him because he's so humble.

Bob is a great guy all the way around and has mechanical skills I wish I had.

Barry, your timing is perfect. We just ran Bob's indepth article on CJV-35s in the most recent Dispatcher that is getting mailed out this week.
