Don't buy Omix-ADA! I had to do some major machine work to make mine fit the intake manifold AND the block. fortunately I have the machine shop equipment to do that, but it kind of chaps me when you pay top dollar for something and have to completely rework it to make it fit.

I have heard enough things about Omix crap I don't intend to buy anything made by them. A machinist I know that specialised in Willy's engines say that Omix (and the people that sell their products) know that a percentage (approx 20%) of their products will come back and they are ok with that. We the customer are doing their quality control work for them. And then there's people like you that make it work and that's a big win for them.

But I don't believe that anybody else is making these. That's why I am looking for alternatives

People like me make it work to get by after buying their crap. The only thing I planned to do was install the manifold and drive on. In the long run I am a dissatisfied customer who will actively campaign to keep people like you from buying their crap. Anything I can do to keep other people from purchasing their brand of crap will ultimately hurt their business.

You make it sound like I condone their lack of quality control. I don't. I have complained to parts suppliers about Omix-ADA parts and told them to not bother shipping anything made by them. I encourage others to do the same.

Unfortunately, looking for a good used exhaust manifold or NOS is a case of trying to find something that almost doesn't exist. Good luck on trying to find either. Let us know if you find either. The manifolds that have been in service are more than likely to be cracked like mine was. The last NOS exhaust manifold probably left the shelves of a Willys dealer decades ago.

Oh no Kansas, I'm sorry that I made it sound that way, absolutely not! What I'm saying is that I am hearing about a lot of instances of the customer having to put in a lot of work in order to get their crap to work so that the project can move forward. It's a case of which is less hassle, returning the crap and wait for a replacement or fix it (and the replacement will probably be no better). I believe that the manufacturer and the retailer are counting on that happening. And no, I seriously doubt I can find a NOS manifold but it never hurts to try, and I also say that a good used one would be OK if I can't find NOS. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

There are just some OMIX-ADA stuff that is worthless without possible mods.

I am also the victim of OMIX.
I had purchased a rebuild kit for a Solex in early 2019.
It didn't have the part i needed which was the check-ball for the accel pump inlet-jet.
Yep, i had to grab a ball from a Chevy Rochester 2-jet kit.
The gaskets did not fit worth a hoot, and really not modifiable to work.
Very disappointing and a total waste of money.
I have ressurected old carbs from the dead for over 50-years, and basically junked the OMIX kit, leaving a real Sour taste in my mouth.
