The previous owner had plumbed the fuel system using brake line which is too small. Today I am installing a new gas tank, new fuel pump, and the correct fuel lines with an in-line filter at the carb.

I also have a new set of spark plugs and wires which I may get to today, but it already runs very well so that isn't a top priority.

Tomorrow I plan to service the knuckles, replace the bearings & seals, and while I have the hubs off will install the longer wheel studs that should have been done with the disc brake conversion. The rest of the conversion work looks like it was done right.

Should have a set of better wheels coming today or tomorrow, so next week will be cleaning and painting those in preparation for new tires.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

Thanks, man. I’m hoping to have it on the road by New Years!

Where did you get the tires? I had tires like that on an M38 I had over 30 years agok, didn't know they still made them. I like the retro look of that tread.

Very nice looking Chassis!

Firestone Knobbies...Coker makes them. Jegs and Summit Racing sell them too.
