After a few days in Moab and Ouray running some tough trails without incident, I went with some friends with side by sides and 4 wheelers on a beautiful but easy local trail here in Northern Utah.
So, of course, since I was with side by sides on a bunny trail, I got a flat tire. While changing the tire we found a lug nut that was stripped. Today I ran over to the Auto Zone store to see what they had in there collection in the back. Much to my surprise I was directed to the towing section and this pack of trailer lug nuts Which are a perfect match. Edited by smfulle - 07 Aug. 2020 at 3:16pm |

Oh, "LUG" nuts, I was worried this was about something else
My Jeep has had disc brakes installed up front, so I have three wheels with right hand thread studs, and one with left hand threads so I am going to replace the studs on one wheel so all 4 are the same. Speaking of this, I recently bought a set of 10 long studs and nuts from Napa which I don't need. If anyone needs these just send me a PM.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

Besides the obvious thread matching, they can be found in 3/4 or 13/16 hex sizes.
Either one will work just fine, but it helps to them all the same.
